SwimWarrior offers a comprehensive platform for competitive swim teams, facilitating the tracking of progress and motivation across various skill levels.

RANKING SYSTEM

The app features three distinct ranking types for each swimmer. These rankings are derived from the swimmer's best performances across 28 different events, with quicker times resulting in elevated ranks. Importantly, times can be logged from both practice sessions and meet results.

RANKING TYPES

• Event Rank: Based on a swimmer's best performance in a specific event.
• Stroke Rank: Determined from the best times across all events within a particular stroke.
• Overall Rank: Calculated from the best times in all available events.

RANKING STRUCTURE

The ranking methodology mirrors that of popular competitive online games, featuring distinct ranks categorized by point ranges:

• Copper: 0-500 pts
• Bronze: 500-1000 pts
• Silver: 1000-1500 pts
• Gold: 1500-2000 pts
• Platinum: 2000-2500 pts
• Diamond: 2500-3000 pts
• Challenger: 3000-3500 pts
• Master: 3500-4000 pts

EVENT SELECTION

A total of 28 events across SCY, SCM, and LCM formats are available for ranking considerations:

• Butterfly: 25, 50, 75, 100 & 200
• Backstroke: 25, 50, 75, 100 & 200
• Breaststroke: 25, 50, 75, 100 & 200
• Freestyle: 25, 50, 75, 100, 200, 400/500, 800/1000 & 1500/1650
• Medley: 100, 200 & 400

TIMES MANAGEMENT

The efficient management of times is crucial for maximizing the benefit of the software. Coaches can easily upload performance data using several methods:

• Stopwatch: The app includes an advanced in-app stopwatch feature that allows coaches to accurately record times during practice. Coaches can select specific events and swimmers; the app automatically organizes heats based on lane availability. This feature is designed for optimal use by coaches on deck.
• Meet File Import: SwimWarrior enables the importation of meet result files. Once processed, these results are automatically stored within each swimmer’s profile.
• manual Entry: The platform allows for straightforward manual entry of times through both web and mobile interfaces, ensuring a smooth user experience.

ENGAGEMENT TOOL

This application encompasses an engagement tool accessible to all team members. With dedicated accounts for coaches, swimmers, and parents, it ensures comprehensive communication about each swimmer's skill level and progress. Notifications are sent to both swimmers and their parents upon achieving personal records or advancing in rank.
